Applied Leadership & Project Management Programs

The 706 Movement advances leadership development through applied learning initiatives that emphasize project execution, collaboration, and community impact. These initiatives are delivered through the Community Change Leadership Lab and include project-based training, rapid improvement workshops, and community-focused programs designed to translate learning into practice.

Project Leadership Training Courses

For educators, nonprofit leaders, and project-based teams

Project Leadership Training (PLT) equips participants with practical project management and leadership skills to plan, manage, and deliver projects across community, educational, and nonprofit organizations. The PLT program focuses on defining scope, setting achievable goals, managing resources, collaborating with stakeholders, and measuring impact—applying project management principles to mission-driven initiatives.

Prerequisite: Interest in leading or supporting projects; no prior certification required.

Rapid Improvement Workshop Series

For organizations seeking practical, fast-cycle problem-solving skills.

Using methods such as root cause analysis, Lean principles, and collaborative brainstorming, participants design solutions that drive measurable and sustainable impact.

Prerequisite: Willingness to engage in collaborative problem-solving and apply improvement methods.
